Kahlo by Muray
Horse & Dragon
Description
This copper colored amber lager bears notes of toffee and biscuit at first sniff, with a touch of chocolate in the background. Malt sweetness and a light bitterness from dark malts and hops create a great balance. It’s medium-bodied with a low ABV, and its great balance makes it a mix-and-match with foods from almost any cuisine.
Brewed with the Fort Collins Museum of Art’s Frida Kahlo: through the lens of Nickolas Muray exhibition in mind, this is a style of beer that Kahlo might have been drinking (the first Munich dunkel brewed in Mexico with widespread distribution launched when she was 19) when Muray was taking photographs of her. The exhibition will be showing at FCMOA from Oct. 7 – Jan. 8.
