Can't Make Zebras

Playing around with new-to-us hops, Linsey has created an Imperial IPA that has fantastic fruit notes both on the nose and very distinctively in the taste. Citrusy aromas waft from the beer. As you sip, you’ll find a number of layered fruit notes with a distinct tangerine/ mandarin taste that lingers with the hoppy bite well after you swallow. The light mouthfeel and clean finish on this beer belies its ABV – often imperial IPAs are syrupy thick and sweet, but Can’t Make Zebras gives you a nice, crisp finish. Mandarina Bavaria hops are responsible for much of the aroma and flavor in this beer, and we plan to enjoy their contribution as long as CMZ stays on tap!
