Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB)

OUR HISTORY

Hopworks was founded in 2007 by Christian Ettinger, our Brewmaster. He started brewing in his parent’s kitchen during his first summer break in college and it didn’t take long to decide he would open his own brewpub. Christian began his career at the Eugene City Brewery, where many of Oregon’s great brewers have had their start. He completed Intensive Brewing and Science and Engineering courses from the American Brewers Guild and was awarded the World Beer Cup Champion Brewmaster while brewing at Laurelwood Pub and Brewery in Portland.
