Description
Fourteen breweries were given the chance to brew with Genie, a new malting barley developed by Limagrain Cereal Seeds. OBC’s grain bill for this brew is 100% 2-Row Genie – resulting in a light, yet refreshing straw-like color. Most IPAs are hopped 3 times throughout the brewing process; kettle, hopback and dry-hop. For this brew we added a 4th hop stage and mixed whole leaf hops directly into the mash. You might say that would be our “4th Wish” if a brewing genie were to grant us 1 more wish. Huge grapefruit and citrus flavors are the result.
