Brewed in collaboration with Glen Hay Falconer Scholarship recipients, Whiteaker Series #5 serves as this year’s Sasquatch Legacy Project beer and is a fruity and spicy Saison. A hazy straw hue, grassy upfront hops, toasted biscuit malt, and Saison yeast character bring clove, banana, stone fruit, and pepper notes reminiscent of the farm life that inspired the style. Ella dry hop adds some subtle tropical and citrus notes.
This year’s beer was developed by the 2017 scholarship recipients: Jen Jordan of Anchor Brewing, Aaron Blonden of Chainline Brewing Company, Adam Frantz of Belltown Brewing, Alyson Hartwig formerly of Dry Dock Brewing Co., and Matt Ponichtera of Maui Brewing.
