Jet black with a dense, tan head, Sputnik’s appearance is similar to freshly pulled espresso. Roasted malt, reminiscent of dark fruit and coffee, dominates the aroma. Complex flavors weave together; rich malt, bittersweet chocolate and earthy hop flavors meld with each other. Roasted malt flavors linger in the finish along side a warming alcohol presence.
