This super-fruity, complex sipper began more than six months ago, when the wood cellar crew filled sour and non-sour Leopold Bros. peach whiskey barrels with a warming wheat wine, and then tossed a hefty dose of plucked peaches into the barrels. Six months later, they blended the tart and fruity bounty with an equal portion of coriander-spiced wheat ale, resulting in a juicy, layered wash that carries heavy peach notes, tropical fruits, vanilla and white vinous tones toward a playfully puckering crescendo.
