Description
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Pours a darker golden amber color, moderate cap of white froth, some sticky lacing. Scent is nice light caramel with toaste grain and roasted nuts, light earthy hoppyness. Taste follows suit, textbook british bitter here. Lighter side of medium bodied, slightly bubbly to style. Solid and flavorful bitter, a style not made much by American brewers.
