Mighty River

For us, the river is our happy place. It could mean a day of fishing or just a nice leisurely float followed by a cold beer or two shared with friends. We’ve spent countless hours fishing on the banks of the Cache La Poudre. We’ve floated the North Platte in Wyoming. Rafted the Snake in Idaho. Fished the Colorado and Roaring Fork. And in these places, we’ve found serenity and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This is our goal in opening Mighty River Brewing Company: to offer an environment away from the stress and obligations of life. The river is our metaphor for a place where you can get away – if only for an hour or two.

We’ve spent many years homebrewing and honing our techniques. We’ve traveled the country tasting beers from Oregon to Arizona and Florida to Massachusetts to learn new styles. Our neighbors, friends and family often benefitted from this R&D and, to us, the best part of homebrewing has always been the smiles and conversation created over a great beer.
