Description
A hop forward yet drinkable Southern Hemisphere Pale Ale brewed to celebrate Frank’s retirement. In reference to Frank Head Brewer Josh used Maris Otter malts (totally English) and Troubadour Serenade malts (using Limagrain’s Genie barley, locally grown here in Northern Colorado). At Frank’s request we utilized only Southern Hemisphere hops (he plans on spending lots of time there in retirement!) – Ella and Summer (from Australia) and Pacific Gem (NZ).
The first reviewer said “Really nice citrusy aroma. Very fruit forward hop character. Nice hoppy flavor, light body. Slight lingering bitterness that fades quickly. Really drinkable.”
