Belgian-Style Wit Ale with Gooseberries. Inspired by the nostalgia of one of our brewers, Chris, eating gooseberries every summer at camp. This wit ale puts a modern twist on a classic Belgian style. Replacing the classically-used orange peel with gooseberries gives this beer distinctly more tartness then your standard wit. This tartness combines with a relatively low abv to create the perfect sessionable summer ale. Notes of coriander, black pepper, citrus fruit, and melon. Pairs well with playing spin the bottle.
