Description

For its 25th Anniversary, New Belgium crisscrossed the country to crack open bottles of Fat Tire with brewing friends, and then they cracked open bags of malts and hops to design their own commemorative spin on the old favorite.

Go wild for Fat. Thanks to Boulder’s finest for this unabashedly tropic take on Fat Tire. Avery took a healthy dose of Brettanomyces Bruxellensis Drie to create a Fat Tire spin with a sturdy malt backbone, fruity hop aroma and a tropical pineapple layer. Heed the call of the wild Fat Tire.

VISUAL

Hazy orange copper color with solid white foam and light lacing

AROMA

Lots of tropical fruit, stone fruit and citrus. Slightly herbal with somewhat funky Brettanomyces notes.

FLAVOR

Starts fruity sweet and moves quickly to moderate bitterness. A slight sourness and hop bitterness finishes off the sip.

BODY

Medium body that’s warming with a bitter finish.
