Description

For its 25th Anniversary, New Belgium crisscrossed the country to crack open bottles of Fat Tire with brewing friends, and then they cracked open bags of malts and hops to design their own commemorative spin on the old favorite.

Our heroes at HUB pedaled Fat Tire straight to the apple orchard. This slightly sour homage starts out with a snap of tartness, courtesy of Lactobacillus and apple juice, then gets balanced with Fat Tire-inspired malty sweetness and a slight herbal bitterness. Nice ride, HUB!

VISUAL

Apricot hue with a medium-heavy sheen and light amount of bright white foam.

AROMA

Subtle amalgam of fruits that’s mostly citrus with some tropical fruit, stone fruit and tart green apple.

FLAVOR

Quick sweetness followed by a blast of sourness and then a light bitter finish.

BODY

Creamy and coating.
