DFA ESB (Nitro)

Although ESB stands for Extra Special Bitter, traditionally these malt-forward brews are only bitter compared to the porters which dominated the beer scene when ESBs were first brewed. From the first whiff, DFA gives you plenty of malt to think about, with notes of floral, delicate citrus, and a subtle grassyness from the hops used. A light malty body is followed by a slight hop bitterness indicative to the style. This is the first recipe designed for H&D by our Assistant Brewer, Titus, and homes to one of his favorite styles. As its name suggest, this easygoing beer is Down For Anything – from being your Peak Beer on a hike to helping you tend the barbeque out back. ABV: 4.4%
